Pune: Twenty nine youths, including nine girls, have been arrested for alleged obscene behaviour from Lonavala-Khandala hill stations where they have assembled to celebrate birthday of one of them, police said today.
The inebriated youths, in the age group of 20 to 25, were arrested last night from a bungalow, about 65 kms from here, police said.
The youths had assembled to celebrate the birthday of a Mumbai-based builder's son, they said, adding that nine litres of foreign liquors worth Rs 5,700 were seized from the venue.
The bungalow belongs to the builder and his son has organised the party, Senior Inspector (Rural Police) Balraj Lanjile said adding, "most of those arrested belong to well off families".
