228 fail in-house degree exams, foul play suspected

Chinai College of Commerce in Andheri has been mired in controversy yet again. Now nearly 228 students have allegedly failed in their in-house degree exams.

Out of 493 students in FY Bachelors of Commerce, nearly 125 students have failed and out of 315 students in SY Bachelors of Commerce, nearly 103 have failed. However, the college said that in SYBCOM only 28 students have been failed while the rest have received ATKT, and in FYBCOM, 132 students have received ATKT.

Students have alleged that the college failed them deliberately to reduce the student strength so that it can shut down. 

“We would like to assure to all the students that we have the best interest of the students at heart,” said Malini Johri, principal.
