The Amboli police busted a party and arrested 22 persons including seven women and two eunuchs allegedly indulging in obscenity on Friday.
While the women and the eunuchs earlier worked as bar dancers, the five clients in the party are small-time businessmen from Gujarat, Pune and Delhi.
Interestingly, the police have arrested one Salim Sadrohi, president of a NGO working for human rights, Annyay Nivaran Brashtachar Nirmulan Sanstha. Police said that Sadrohi was the main organiser of the party.
“The clients had booked the party over the phone. They had coordinated with one watchman named Gopi who is absconding,” informed the police.
