The Social Service Branch (SSB) officials of the Mumbai police on Monday arrested two Uzbekistani girls on Monday for illegally staying in India. The two were earlier rescued from a prostitution racket on August 28 from a plush bungalow in Khar and were lodged at Navjeevan Mahila Sudhar Griha since the last 15 days.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Lundra's tourist visa had expired on June 6, 2007, while Nasiba's visa had expired on February 24, 2007. The two have been remanded in judicial custody till September 21 by the additional chief metropolitan magistrate's court at Esplanade.
