The Government Railway Police (GRP) have finally zeroed in on two Jharkhand boys, aged 16 years and 15 years old, who would pose as college students and steal cellphones in local trains. The two would then sell the stolen mobiles at their natives place in Jharkhand.

“The two, who confessed to having carrying on with their act for the past two-and-a-half years, were detained by sub-inspector Farooq Shaikh and constable Anand Kamble at the ticket booking office at Thane when they were moving about suspiciously on Sunday,” said a police officer of Thane railway police.
