15 ACPs transferred

In a major reshuffle, Mumbai commissioner of police Arup Patnaik transferred 15 assistant commissioners of police (ACP) on Thursday on administrative ground.

VB Chandanshive, PM George, VM Hemadi and RR Joshi of the local arms division have been shifted to the north control room, crime branch, Malwani and Kherwadi divisions respectively. NT Sherkhane of the Saki Naka division has been posted to DN Nagar, while Didar Singh of the crime branch) has been transferred to Saki Naka. RB Dhanwat of the security and protection division has been shifted to the local arms division, while SJ Marathe of the crime branch has been posted to the Bandra division.

KS Choudhry of the central control room has been posted to the Chembur division replacing NG Vayal, who has been transferred to the Trombay division. DY Katkate (headquarters) has been posted to the Tardeo division, while SG Nalawade of security and protection) has been transferred to Sion.
