They are well known in the cyber world for their crazy antics and oodles of talent. Now, instead of watching their videos over and over on YouTube, you will get to watch them live. From comedians, video bloggers, musicians, cooks and fashionistas, each outnumbering the other with millions of hits, these online sensations will be performing at NSCI, Worli, this Friday for the YouTube FanFest's second stint in the city.

This year, the FanFest features 24 popular YouTube artists from India and abroad with performances by IISuperwomanII, Bethany Mota, Jus Reign, TVF ONE, Kanan Gill & Biswa Kalyan Rath, and East India Comedy.

Kanan and Biswa of the 'Pretentious Movie reviews' fame, who credit much of their popularity to YouTube, will play hosts. For fans, this is a golden opportunity to come face to face with their favourite artists, they say. "We were doing stand up comedy two years before we started out on YouTube. If we had an audience of 50-60 people earlier, we now have more than 1,000. It has put us on the national and international maps," says Kanan, who has come down from Bangalore for the show. Besides the usual line-up of gigs, there is also a mystery show in store for the fans, he reveals, without giving anything away.

Shankar Tucker, who became famous after 'Shrutibox' made waves on YouTube, has also come from the USA for the FanFest for the first time. "Its a unique concert idea where YouTube performers get a stage. My career began because of it and it allows me to put forth my vision for music which may not be what people in the recording industry or music festivals are interested in. I don't have to go anywhere as this new form of media gets attention everywhere," he said.

"Over the past year, we've seen popular Indian creators emerge on YouTube and excite people around the world. We're bringing the YouTube FanFest back to Mumbai for a second showing to celebrate this new generation of stars with some of YouTube's most passionate fans in Asia," said Gautam Anand, director of content and operations, YouTube Asia-Pacific.

Tickets are available via sponsors and announcements on @youtubefanfest. For those who can't make the live show, YouTube FanFest will be streamed live at http://www.youtube.com/fanfest.
