On Friday night, a 29-year-old woman working for a media firm was allegedly stalked by a man on a local train. 

Scared after seeing the man staring at her, the woman started walking to another compartment only to find him staring at her again. The woman managed to click a picture of the man.

The 29-year-old woman is a Worli resident and had left her workplace from Wadala for some personal work at Bandra. When on the platform she noticed a man following her until she boarded the local. The woman tried to locate a police personnel on the platform but could not see one.

"I noticed that the man was following me and tried to click his picture so that I could report him to the police. I kept on moving as I was scared that he might approach me or attack me," said the woman. "Soon I managed to click the picture of the man and I could see him directly staring at my camera. I reported the matter to the police on social media," said the woman.

She also wrote on the social media, "You look at the man. He is following me around on the platform. Such is the audacity that nothing stops men from being men."

A senior Government Railway Police officer, who did not wish to be identified, told DNA: "We will contact the woman and register the case against the man.
