Woman's nipples cut off for refusing enter flesh trade

A 24-year-old woman's nipples were cut off when she refused to being pushed into flesh trade by the manager of a brothel at Hanuman tekdi in Bhiwandi. She also tortured her by inflicting cigarette burns and was kept in an isolated room. The victim pleaded them to take her to the hospital but the refused.

After a couple of days, the victim's cries were heard by a passerby. He then lodged a complaint with the police. The police rushed to the place, rescued the woman and took her to Indira Gandhi hospital. But the doctors there recommended her to be shifted to the Thane civil hospital. The victim is in a state of shock and is not speaking to anyone, said a Thane civil hospital source.

Police inspector A Saspe from Bhiwandi police station said: "We have caught the woman behind this heinous act — Rubi Munshi, The other two accused, the victim's her brother Alam and Afzal are absconding.

We are yet to take the victim's statement."

The accused has been booked under section 325, 326, 370 of IPC.

The victim was allegedly brought from Gujarat allegedly by her brother after her parents sold her to a pimp.
