Woman found strangulated at home in Mira Road

The police are checking her call records and suspect that somebody known to her from might have strangulated her.

A 35-year-old woman who worked as a dubbing artist was found strangulated to death in her house by unidentified persons in Mira Road (E) on Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Seema Rupesh Mason, a resident of Sanghavi Park. According topolice officials, the victim lived with her husband and a 10 year-old-son.

"Her husband, who returned after some work from Bhiwandi, found his wife sleeping in the bedroom. He tried to wake her up and got no response. Following it, he took her to the Bhakti Vedant hospital for treatment but the doctors declared her dead," said a police official at Kashimira police station.

The police are checking her call records and suspect that somebody known to her from might have strangulated her.
