The post-mortem of the three students of Vagad Gurukul International School at Sakwar village has failed to give much leads after doctors decided to reserve the findings and sent their viscera samples for further tests – histopathology and chemical analysis.

Source from the forensic department of JJ Hospital, where the post-mortems were conducted on Wednesday night, however, told dna that there were minor head injuries and blunt injuries on the hand of two boys. A senior doctor from forensic department of JJ Hospital said, "All of them had minor head injuries. Meet Chhadwa and Prahul Patel had had blunt injuries on their hands."

The viscera samples were sent to Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) at Kalina for further investigation but forensic doctors said that it doesn't look like a case of foul play.

"It looks like a drowning case. The minor head injuries that the boys had is mostly associated with drowning cases where the victim hits their head on some rough surface. The blunt injuries in the hands of the two boys can be result of the alleged beating by their teacher. There was no other prominent injuries noticed on the bodies. Once the FSL report comes, we will be able to confirm the cause of death," said the doctor.

The boys according to their friends were brutally beaten up by a teacher with a belt and shoes after scoring low marks.

The boys went missing from the hostel on Monday night after which the school management filed a missing complaint with local police. The bodies of the three were found in the Sukh River on Wednesday morning.

The boys' families suspect the three were caught escaping, beaten up again and then thrown into the river.
