According to the MIAL officials, the vehicles open for tendering include four tractors, four Mahindra scorpio, nine Maruti Zen, 12 Tata mobile vehicles, two Tempo Travellers, five Mahindra Pick-ups, one Maruti Versa, one Maruti Omni and one Eicher goods carrier. Sources said that apart from vehicles, trolleys, porta cabins, ground power unit, fork lift, aircraft tire, tow ladder, tow bar, etc are are also being disposed of.

"These vehicles along with other ground support equipment will be sold to the highest bidder through a tendering process," said an airport official, having direct knowledge of the matter.

Last month Kurla-based Silent Enterprises had won the bid to purchase Mallya's (nine plus two ) 30-year-old personal plane. The plane was dismantled inside the airport and its parts were sold off from the location itself, while only the trash were brought to the junk company's godown in Sakinaka. Manzoor Malik, a co-owner of Silent Enterprises, had said, "We earned a handsome profit out of Mallya's plane and are looking forward to more such scraps."
