Variety, offers at dna property expo draw crowds from across Mumbai & neighbouring areas

The second edition of dna property expo, which started on August 21 in Thane, has been quite a crowd-puller. Not just Thane residents, but also people from Mumbai and its suburbs were seen scouting for homes, bungalow plots and second homes at the event.

The variety of housing options at the expo has got people asking for more. "We are looking to buy a second home and came here to look for some good options," said Prasad Joglekar, a resident of Louiswadi, Thane.

Mumbai resident Mahesh Gadgil was seen scanning stalls of realtors to zero in on a property. "I am looking to invest in property, but I am yet to make a decision," he said, overwhelmed by the choices on offer.

The expo not only has properties in Thane and Mumbai, but also those in Nashik and Shirdi. Maitreya Realtors' residential projects in Shirdi and Nashik drew a large number of people looking for a home to retire to. "Mumbai's life is quite busy and stressful. After our children grow up we would like to go to a quiet place, like Nashik, and settle there," said Shridharan Pillai, who had come all the way from Mira Road.

There are delightful spot offers of discounts, stamp duty and free registration vouchers up to Rs75,000, besides Honda Activa and holiday packages. "We got two inquiries on the first day itself and customers have visited sites. Hopefully, they will be converted into sales," said an official from Natu Paranjape realtors, which is exhibiting its 9 Riviera project in Parsik hill, Thane.
