After 40 year old Vaibhav Raut from Nalasopara was picked up, the other Hindu right wing organisations, including Sanathan Sanstha cleared their stand that Raut was not associated with their organisation.

"Reports of the arrested devout Hindu, Vaibhav Raut being a seeker of Sanatan, are doing the rounds. Vaibhav Raut is not a seeker of Sanatan; however he had been actively involved in numerous rallies and processions organised by devout Hindu organisations. Although Raut is not a seeker of Sanatan, we believe that any Hindu working for the cause of Hindutva and for Dharma, is Sanatan's own," said Chetan Rajhans, Spokesperson, Sanatan Sanstha.

A statement issued by Rajhans stated, merely after the arrest of Vaibhav Raut, much before the submission of any evidence, before the completion of the investigation, and even prior to Raut being proven guilty in the court of law, the Congress and rationalist leaders and organisations have desperately begun demanding a ban on Sanatan. It is indeed surprising and one may wonder if these leaders have forgotten that, 'the democracy and judiciary of this nation is still alive.

"The rationalists are also seeking a ban on Sanatan, but it is important to note that this demand is deceitful, Sanatan Sanstha spokesperson, Mr Chetan Rajhans has said. Sanatan can understand the difficult and testing times that Vaibhav Raut is going through. Sanatan has experienced what it feels like being innocent and dragged unnecessarily into something like a bomb blast. Deceitful attempts have been made in the past to entangle Sanatan in the Margao Bomb Blast, only to result in the acquittal of the seekers of Sanatan," he said.

He added, "Attempts were also made to get Sanatan embroiled in the murders of Dabholkar and Pansare, but five years into the incident, the Dabholkar family is desperately trying to stop the commencement of the trial in the court. Sanatan has always carried out its work of righteousness, effectively and in a constitutional manner. "

On the other hand, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti stated that arrest of devout Hindu Vaibhav Raut is like 'Malegaon Part 2.

"The news is breaking since Thursday night that Vaibhav Raut has been arrested from Nalasopara. Vaibhav Raut is daring cow-protector (Gau-Rakshak) and was active through an organisation dedicated to the protection of cows, 'Hindu Govansh Raksha Samiti' ," informed Sunil Ghanvat, Maharashtra and Chattisgarh State Organiser of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.
