Uttar Pradesh MLA booked for cheating Mumbai cop

The Juhu police have booked ​an ​Uttar Pradesh MLA from Samajwadi Party Subhash Pasi for allegedly duping the Assistant Police Inspector for Rs 22.90 ​l​akh on pretext of giving him a flat in SRA project at Chakala in Andheri East.

In the FIR​,​ the police officer ha​s​ alleged that alongwith Pasi, his secretary Anju Almeida and two other persons lured him to pay money but did not give him the room nor the money back.

"We have registered the case of cheating and forgery against the MLA and three other persons and we are investigating further", said a senior officer from Juhu police station.
