Unofficial complaint lodged against Aditya Pancholi

A Versova-based car dealer has accused Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi of cheating and criminal intimidation, following which a non-cognisable complaint was registered at Versova police station on Monday evening. Police said that they are investigating into the matter and Pancholi will be called for questioning on Wednesday.

According to the complainant, Mohsin Qadar, Pancholi, in 2017, had given his Land Cruiser to him for repair. Pancholi had promised Qadar to pay for the repair work. To fix the car, Qadar first took it to a Juhu-based garage, where the car was kept for several months but was not fixed. The car was later taken to a Delhi-based garage where it was finally fixed. Qadar then delivered the car to Pancholi on February 23 and asked for remuneration of Rs 2.83 lakh. However, Pancholi refused to do so and threatened to approach the police.

"After pursuing the matter for days, Pancholi began abusing me. When things finally blew out of proportion, I registered a complaint against Pancholi on Monday," said Qadar.

Ravindra Badgujar, senior police inspector of Versova police station said the investigation is underway and action will be taken after verifying the allegations.
