Try drunken bhel and cheesy chillies at Juhu's True Tramm Trunk

True Tramm Trunk is the kind of place that is perfect for enjoying an upbeat evening on the weekend. The energy, vibe, music, food and drinks make this place a good one to hang out with friends. What’s more interesting is the intriguing range of food and drinks that are available on the menu like drunken Bhel and cheese-stuffed Bhavnagri chillies, among other regular food items.

Daru desi

The drinks menu offers whacky cocktails with a contemporary twist, with names resembling ‘desi daru’ such as Tharra UP, Pawsar Country Mumbai, Laila Bihar, Jagadhri No. 1 among others. The bizarre-named drinks may make you want to ditch the regular cocktails like Cosmopolitan and Bloody Mary. Although I didn’t try these drinks, my alcohol-loving friends vouched for them.  

Treat your taste buds

The new range of food items is delicious, especially the cheese-stuffed Bhavnagri chillies, which had the perfect balance of droolworthy cheese with the tolerable spice of chillies. Apart from this, I also tried the Jalapeno and Cheese poppers, which were not up to the mark as they tasted of plain cheese. The pizzas I liked the most were the classic Margarita and the Mushroom and Roasted Garlic one.
