One woman and two men were injured after a Mango tree on Wednesday afternoon fell on them at Nepeansea Road, Malabar Hill. The duo were rescued by the Fire Brigade and rushed to Elizibath Hospital, Malabar Hill where they were treated and discharged.

One woman and two men were injured after a Mango tree on Wednesday afternoon fell on them at Nepeansea Road, Malabar Hill. The duo were rescued by the Fire Brigade and rushed to Elizibath Hospital, Malabar Hill where they were treated and discharged.
The incident took place near the Daryamahal bus-stop at around 1pm when the tree fell on the three of them who were standing at the bus stop. "As soon as the tree fell, people called the main control room which informed the Malabar Hill police station as well as the fire brigade," said Bhaskarrao A. Sawant, Senior Police Inspector, Malabar Hill.
However, he added, "By the time the our team and the fire brigade reached there, the third person was injured but had left the spot before we arrived. The other two rescued were taken to the hospital. The woman, identified as Jagrruti Naik (43) got a minor injury on her head while the man identified as Sayeed Harun (50) sustained injuries on his hand. Both were treated and discharged by evening." The police has taken an incident report for the same.
