Transport app Uber takes you where you want to go while also giving you Häagen-Dazs ice cream

The Uber app, which connects you to a cab driver in minutes, on Friday connected to hundreds of hearts when they distributed Häagen-Dazs ice cream to it's app users.

They delivered the cold delight across 144 cities around the world. Supposed to be their signature and the biggest on-demand experience, Uber has captured many hearts. On July 18, Uber gave the opportunity to it's users to tap on the 'Ice cream' option and receive oodles of happiness within minutes.

It was a celebration of communities, a way to bond with friends, colleagues and close ones over ice cream. 

“We are extremely excited about the association with Uber” mentioned the Häagen-Dazs spokesperson in his statement. "Häagen-Dazs is a luxurious indulgence enjoyed by consumers around the world in Häagen-Dazs Shops. Häagen-Dazs is constantly known to look at innovative ways to create magical Häagen-Dazs Moments for consumers. This initiative with Uber is just one of the many that we have planned. It is going to be a magical experience to be able to push a button and get Häagen-Dazs ice cream at your door-step," he added. 

All the users had to do was download the Uber app on their phones and request an ice cream. Based on availability, treats were delivered to the requester's doorstep. The Häagen Dazs ice cream cars were operational from 11 am to 5 pm on Friday.
