TMC to construct two police stations

Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has decided to construct two police stations under construction Transfer and Development Rights (TDR). The proposed police stations will be nuilt at Kasarvadavali and Kalwa.

The foundation stone for Kalwa police station was laid down in presence of Thane civic commissioner Sanjeev Jaiswal, police commissioner Parambir Singh and joint commissioner, crime Manohar Dumbre.

Sanjeev Jaiswal said, "For the first time, TMC will be developing a police station under construction TDR and later on, 75 percent of the total amount would be paid by police department."

Cosmos life style developers will undertake the construction at Kasarwadi on 3534 square meters of land.

The police station at Kalwa will be developed by the developer Natu Paranjpe.
