To bring all the education institutions at same level in education. The third party assessment of the zilla parishad, civic run and aided schools will take place soon decided by state's education department.

To bring the standards of all the educational institutions at same level, the education department of state have now decided to do a third party assessment in all government run schools. The assessment will be on infrastructure of the school, quality of education imparted to students and pupil teacher ratio in state schools.

An official on condition of anonymity from the education department said, "It is true that the third party assessment will be done in state run schools soon now. The organization is yet to be short listed, who will do this assessment. But this assessment will bring the clear picture on what standard of education is imparted by schools to our students."

Talking to dna reporter education minister Vinod Tawde, said, "The assessment is not exactly a census of the students or just to know why there are drop outs rates high in state run schools but a general education and to enhance the education in our schools. The assessment is to know standard of education in terms of infrastructure, number of teachers and non-teaching, what is academic standards in schools. Where the school is lacking in academic standards. What are the needs of teachers or students etc. The assessment will start from Zilla Parishad, Nagarpalika, Mahapalika and then aided schools. I want to give target to all the state government run schools for their development. After we gather all the data we will come to know where that particular school stands and where do we need to take it in future. We will ask them to achieve those thing that they are lacking in.

Road map will be prepared for them and school will be helped to develop for the better facilities for students."
