The US-based magazine, headquartered in New Jersey, also has an outstanding online presence. They recognise world leaders & fastest growing companies in the field of information technology, business analytics, software, IT services, cloud, mobile, big data, security, telecommunications, hot start-ups, among others.
Prabhudesai completed his graduation in commerce from Thane's Joshi Bedekar college and did an MBA (master of business administration) from Navi Mumbai. "I was unaware about our company being listed in the magazine. It was my friend from the US who called to inform me about the same," he said.
The company has branches in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Bahrain and Zambia. They provide research and analytic solutions to international institutions, Fortune 500 companies and start-ups.
Their citizen app public eye, created for Bangalore traffic police to tackle traffic violation cases, has helped cops book 35,000 cases. "We are designing a similar app for Mumbai, Pune and Faridabad," said Prabhudesai, who is also involved in youth skill development.
He also received the Rex Karamveer Chakra Award awarded by the United Nations (UN). The award is given to people for excellence in various fields like Technology, Innovation, Entertainment, Media, Design, Performing Arts, Architecture, Engineering, Aviation, Creative Arts, Fine Arts, Sciences, and Humanities.
