While online process has been considered the easiest mode for any work, it has not gone down well with the teachers' community. According to the Teachers Democratic Front (TDF), online payment by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) for paper correction is not reaching them on time.

TDF vice president Rajesh Pandya said: "Earlier, teachers were paid for paper correction by sending money in envelopes to their schools when the results were declared. Since the time the board started making online payment, it is getting delayed. And teachers got their travelling allowance after a month. Some of them are still waiting for their payment."

S Chandekar, secretary, MSBSHSE, Mumbai division, said, "Most of the teachers who have State bank of India accounts will receive their payment soon and those who made mistakes in sending their account details will also get it as we have made corrections."
