The Special TADA court presided by judge Govind Sanap on Tuesday directed Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), Deven Bharti, to consider lodging prosecution against the jail escort party which had assisted Mustafa Dossa to his court's appearance to Porbandar.

Dossa and his aide Sabina Khatri were held guilty in a police inquiry wherein it was alleged that Khatri was allowed to travel with Dossa while he was on the way to appear before a court in Porbandar.

The court in its orders has explained that it is essential to take action against the escort party, as it would set a deterrent to the escort party officials and would not be lenient with any of the accused in future.

The court in its orders held, "There is offence registered against Dossa's aide, who offered a bribe to the officials and also against Sabina Khatri for allegedly forging her nikaahnama to show that she is Dossa's wife."

Explaining the seriousness of the matter, the court held, "Mustafa was facing trial in the bomb blast case. Any thing could have happened, Dossa could have absconded. In such case officer were expected to be extra cautious, but they were extra lenient. Thus the officer who committed crime need to be dealt strictly."

On December 25, 2016, Dossa was escorted by the police to Porbandar for attending a court case filed against him.
