The state unit president of the party Sadabhau Khot informed dna that the BJP has been served a debacle in Bihar because of its double standards. He said that small alliance partners, including Swabhimani Party, Rashtriya Janata Party led by MLC Mahadev Jankar, Republican Party of India led by Rajya Sabha MP Ramdas Athavale and Shiv Sangram organisation led by MLC Vinayak Mete were used during the elections and have been ignored after coming to power.
Khot said that Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana would be holding a state-level farmers' convention in Pune soon after Diwali and would air its voice against the government. Khot said that despite the fact that the BJP has been dealt a defeat in Bihar, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was not making amendments and was going ahead with his Baramati trip. He pointed out that it was former Union minister and NCP president Sharad Pawar, who was backing those who ruined the cooperative sugar factories and Fadnavis even as the central leadership has been lauding Pawar for development in Baramati.
Khot said that the BJP had requested smaller parties to join hands for the a mega alliance in the state, which provided a psychological advantage for the BJP-Shiv Sena, resulting in increased vote share in the state. He said that it was instrumental for a change of guard in the state and the Congress-NCP rule of 15 years was dissolved due to the striking of a mega-alliance. The same was done by Congress-RJD and JD(U) in Bihar. The reason is that the Fadnavis government would address grievances of smaller alliance partners as soon as possible.
