State lends a ear to BDS students

After a month, the state government has finally decided to start an inquiry over the student harassment case at Aditya Dental College in Beed.

On January 9, DNA had reported that students of first year Bachelors of Dental Surgery were being harassed by the college authorities because they complained about the poor infrastructure of the college. The state has appointed a special four-member committee to look into the sexual abuse and harassment complaints.

‘’We hope the government takes a decision soon otherwise the students’ academic year will be wasted,’’ said Jayant Jain, president Forum For Fairness in Education NGO.
