Amboli Police is likely to file a charge sheet in the SSC paper leak case by the end of the month before the Andheri magistrate court. The case had come to light after a few students were found with leaked question papers on their mobile phone at a school in Jogeshwari during the examination. The police investigation has revealed that the mastermind of the racket arranged for the papers for monetary benefits and to achieve 100% result for the students from his coaching class.

A teacher from the MVM Swami Muktanand High School in Andheri (W), had caught the students in March. The school, MVM Swami Muktanand High School, was also an SSC examination center.

OnMarch 19, Social Science (73) and History-Political Science-Paper-1 exams were to be held from 11 am till 1 pm at the school. "Around 10.35 am, the complainant saw three students in the school premises surfing their mobile phones and reading books. Finding their behaviour suspicious she confronted the students. The teacher then took the mobile phone of one of the students, who was from a Jogeshwari based school and found Social Science (73) and History-Political Science-Paper-1 question papers having N 246 code," said a police source.

He added, since exam time was near, students were permitted to give exams and phones were kept in locker.
