Speeding Mercedes injures 5 in Andheri

The incident took place at 5 am at Four Bungalows.

Five pedestrian sustained injury in a hit and run accident after a speeding Mercedes car hit them at Four Bungalows in Andheri (west). The incident took place on Monday at around 5 am when the car rammed into the victims who were walking along the road.

Due to impact of the accident the logo and number plate of the car fell on the spot which is aiding the police in collecting evidence.

“The driver of the Mercedes did not stop the car after the accident he ran away with the car but interestingly the logo and number plate of the car fell on the spot due to impact of the accident. So we got the registration number of the car and following that we have contacted the Andheri RTO office for car owner details” said police inspector, Vishram Abhyankar of the Versova police station.

“As soon as we get the owner’s details we will find out who was driving the car at the time of accident” added Abhyankar.

“The victims were taken to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital, three sustained minor injuries while two suffered fractures.” said Abhyankar.
