Violence as a tool to discipline kids at home does more harm than good. So is making children feel guilty about their behaviour or teaching to keep secrets. These are the findings of a 4-city study involving 7,000 parents. The survey by Podar Education Network shows that using these methods may turn a child to become an easy prey for peadophiles and strangers as they may employ the same technique to shut them up.

98% - don't check mobile phone of person taking care of the kid
87% - never checked the background of such person
82% - don't teach male child about good touch and bad touch as they feel boys can't be abused
