Sony launches smart wearables in India

On Monday, Japanese electronice giant launched its latest range of smart wearbles-SmartWatch 3 and SmartBand Talk- in India. 

"SmartWatch 3 is the first smartwatch specifically designed for the latest Android Wear updates, while, SmartBand Talk allows users call handling and voice control functions from their wrists", Sony India said in a statement.

Priced at Rs 19,990, SmartWatch 3 has a built-in microphone, accelerometer, compass, Gyro, GPS sensor. With a screen size of 1.6 inch, it has a transflective display for visibility in bright sunlight.

"The water-proof smart device sports an internal memory of 4GB", the firm said.

SmartBand Talk is priced at Rs 12,990 and features a short call function helping users to talk into it and hear the caller. It also features built-in microphone and speaker, and sports HD voice support. 

"Through Sony's integrated Voice Control1 technology users can assign their own sounds to life bookmarks and use their voice to carry out specific smartphone operations", the firm said.

Both the smart devices come in black colour and are available at Sony Centre and major electronic stores across India.
