According to the police, Nigam owns a bungalow called Namah on Versova Link Road. On May 25, Nigam had organised a party at his residence for a few of his friends. After the party got over, Nigam realised that his mobile phone worth Rs26,000 was missing.

Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam has approached the Versova police with a complaint that someone has stolen his mobile handset from his house.
According to the police, Nigam owns a bungalow called Namah on Versova Link Road. On May 25, Nigam had organised a party at his residence for a few of his friends. After the party got over, Nigam realised that his mobile phone worth Rs26,000 was missing.
"Assuming that the mobile phone would have got misplaced somewhere at home, Nigam searched for it but could not find it. Suspecting that someone could have stolen his phone, he then approached the police and got a complaint registered against unknown persons," said a police officer from Versova police station.
The police are likely to make inquiries with those who attended the party that night as well as the staff of the singer, sources said.
