Sion Hospital declares strike in solidarity

The resident doctors of the Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital (Sion Hospital) did not work for Out Patient Department (OPD) of the hospital on Monday to mark their solidarity for the protest. The doctors at Nair and KEM are using black ribbons as a symbol of protest.

Abhishek Khobragade, a resident doctor in Sion hospital, said, "It is just a day's strike in support of our colleagues in JJ hospital who are on strike demanding better security. They were assaulted and it is not acceptable," Dr Khobragade added.
