Those dreaming of winning Mumbai have forgotten what happened in Delhi and Bihar. You want to see your flag fluttering everywhere, but you must first see if the flag is actually fluttering or struggling, Uddhav said.

Taking on the BJP, Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray has asked the Sena's partner to first recall what happened in the Delhi and Bihar assembly polls before dreaming of taking over Mumbai. Uddhav hit out at the BJP, while speaking at a Sena meeting on Saturday, on the occasion of late Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray's 89th birth anniversary.
Uddhav's comments gain significance since the BJP has already sounded the bugle for the BMC polls scheduled for February next year. State BJP chief Raosaheb Danve had recently said that the BJP would go it alone in the civic polls and ensure that a BJP Mayor is annointed in the BMC.
"Those dreaming of winning Mumbai have forgotten what happened in Delhi and Bihar. You want to see your flag fluttering everywhere, but you must first see if the flag is actually fluttering or struggling," Uddhav said.
Saturday's programme was also the anniversary of Sena's 'Marmik' magazine. Uddhav also reiterated that Sena was set to take a shot at the next assembly polls. "Not just the BMC, I will not rest till the Sena's saffron flag is flown atop the Maharashtra legislature," he said.
