The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court on Monday called up Sanjeev Khanna, co-accused with Indrani Mukerjea, in the witness box and inquired about his health. Khanna had mentioned his ailing conditions a few months ago.

Khanna, while responding to court's query, said, "I was suffering from a skin ailment, but I have been taken regularly to the dermatologist by the jail authorities according to my doctor's appointment. I have been advised by the doctors to continuously administer eye drops with proper time intervals, which will help in retaining its moisture. While, they have asked me to not to read in dark, but to use bright light for reading purpose."

Meanwhile, Peter Mukerjea, the estranged husband of Indrani, who is also an accused in the case, have filed an application stating that he wants a new bed in his jail as he has major back issues.
