In an exclusive interview to Zee media, the woman who was gang-raped in Shakti Mills Compound before the rape of the Mumbai photojournalist, said that five men violated her and she wants the strictest punishment for them.
The rape had come to light two days ago.
The victim has lodged a complaint with the police.
The victim said that she and a friend of hers had entered the Shakti Mills Compound at around 7.30pm.
"It was my first visit to the place," she said. She also said she was beaten by two people present in the compound when they entered.
"I was dragged and my friend was beaten and tied up with his belt. The two men then raped me," the victim reportedly said.
"Three more men then showed up. They also forced themselves on me. This happened between 7.30 pm and 8.00 pm. I was very scared. The five men beat us very badly and ran away after
that. I did not feel like returning home. In spite of the darkness, I and my friend managed to find our way out.
Those men have ruined my life and must be punished severely," the victim said.
