Several women SHGs worked for loan waiver

One such group was present in Mumbai on Wednesday when Fadnavis distributed certificates of eligibility for loan waiver to a few farmers.

While Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis-led government in Maharashtra announced and implemented biggest ever loan waiver package for over 57 lakh farmers in the state, it is not only government machinery which has worked day and night for the same. 

Several women’s SHGs had also chipped in. One such group was present in Mumbai on Wednesday when Fadnavis distributed certificates of eligibility for loan waiver to a few farmers.  Dipali Vasant Kulthe, secretary of Strishakti women’s self-help group from Nashik informed that her group worked for filling up the online forms for the loan waiver. Kulthe informed that 38 members of her SHG were trained in computers and data entry who worked day and night for getting the loan waiver forms filled up for all the farmers from Makhamalabad in Nashik.
