Krav Maga is a relatively new form of defense system that teaches how to avoid, prevent, deter or deal with all types of violent confrontations having been developed under realistic conditions.

Krav Maga is a relatively new form of defense system that teaches how to avoid, prevent, deter or deal with all types of violent confrontations having been developed under realistic conditions.
It was developed in Israel by Imi Lichenfeld for the Israeli Defense Forces. Krav Maga is currently developed by Imi's closest assistant and highest-level instructor Eyal Yanilov of Krav Maga Global, who has adapted it to meet the needs of civilians along with law enforcement and security personnels. The workshop will be conducted by Yanilov as well.
Karv Maga works by elevating the trainee's capabilities on the physical, mental, technical and tactical levels and is suitable for all, as each person, with the guidance of a certified instructor can reach their own goals and fulfil their needs.
Elroy Vaz, who is the regional director of Karv Maga said, "Karv Maga translated from Hebrew to English reads "Contact Combat" develops natural human responses to enable the defender to effectively fend off an attack from the first response to the attack. The defender can effectively handle any attack situation, even those that includes weapons. It's biggest difference from other forms of martial arts or sports is that it enables you to defend yourself from more than one opponent."
The combat style has a structured format with levels of training but they also offer short-term courses for those wanting to learn a defense form within a limited period of time.
Eyal has published the book 'How to defend yourself against armed assault', written in conjunction with Grand Master Imi before he passed away and in 2010 established Krav Maga Global (KMG), a global infrastructure designed to disseminate Krav Maga Global throughout the world in a more structure format whilst maintaining highest level of training.
