Overcoming accidents and technical mishaps, the Vile Parle Premier League takes off

Mumbai's own Vile Parle Premier League Season 3 was kickstarted on May 17 at Dubashi Grounds, Vile Parle (E).
The league saw 8 teams, 250 enthusiastic footballers, team owners and of course, the organisers on the inaugural day. The chief guest for the day was Sachin Khedekar, an eminent Marathi actor who is also seen in many Bollywood films.
Four matches were played on the day one. The first match of the season was between Parle Mavericks and Parle United (winners of last season) which ended in a draw. The second match- Parle Diaons vs. Parle FC also ended in a draw.
All the excitement started with the third one between Parle Diaons and Parle FC in which Parle Diaons defeated Parle FC 3-0. The star goalers of this match were Nickel D'souza, Kaldyn Misquitta and Kamlesh Nadar.
The last match of the day between Parle Messiahs and Parle Indians ended with a score of 2-0, goals scored by Annirudha Gupte who by mistake scored in his own goal and Siddarth Mangar.

Although, the event started with some obstacles like a few players were injured due to an accident that occured a week ago and a few technical glitches on the first day, the event has had quite a smashing start and seems all charged up for the rest of the days.
All this excitement continues for another 8 days as the event continues till the 25th.
