Russian visa centre launched in Mumbai

With an aim to accelerate and simplify the procedure to acquire Russian visa, a centre was recently launched in city. The centre is officially authorised to perform technical functions exclusively associated with the documentation work to get a Russian visa.

The Mumbai centre, which is the second after Delhi, is located on Pedder Road. The other two cities where centres will be launched are Chennai and Kolkata.

The new visa centres will have a well-established mechanism of internal interaction with modern material and technical facilities, qualified staff, and the use of 'one-stop shop' as well as the premises in which the Russian Visa Application Centre is located will make the visit convenient and comfortable for people.

The right to deny or approve visas will rest with the Russian Consulate in India.

The initiative has been taken jointly with support from the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of India, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, and Indra Visa Fiduciary Services Private Limited.
