RMO held for filming doctor in bathroom

The Sion police on Thursday arrested a 25-year-old resident doctor from Sion hospital for allegedly filming a 28-year-old woman doctor when she was taking bath in the ladies bathroom of the hostel. The accused was caught red-handed by the victim.

The police said the accused, Vipul Chaudhary, hailing from Jalgaon, was posted as resident medical officer. On Thursday, the victim, who is pursuing her MD in gynaecology, went to bathe, and as she was undressing herself, found a mobile phone on the partition wall the bathroom shares with a toilet.

"The victim tried to pull the mobile phone but was unable to take it. She immediately came out and started shouting and banging on the door of the toilet," said an officer. "Later, a few people called doctors, forced the door open and found Chaudhary inside."

The police have booked Chaudhary for outraging the modesty of a woman, and under the IT Act.
