Receptionist shot at hotel near Mumbai, Suresh Pujari gang leaves note

On Wednesday, a 25-year-old receptionist was allegedly shot inside by a masked man inside KN Park hotel at Kalyan-Bhiwandi. The woman has been rushed to an undisclosed private hospital in Thane for treatment. The Kongaon police and the Thane Crime Branch police officers rushed to the spot and are investigating the matter.

According to police, the armed man was captured in the CCTV camera footage of the hotel reception lobby. After firing a shot, the armed man left a note which claimed to be from the gangster Suresh Pujrai. The incident has sent shocking waves among the businessmen in Thane District and its adjoining areas.

The victim has been identified as Swara Shirsat,25. The police is registering the First Information Report in this regard and suspect the involvement of more than two persons in the incident.
