Ram Kadam booked for making threat call

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) MLA Ram Kadam is once again in the news for all the wrong reasons. Ghatkopar police booked Kadam in the wee hours of Wednesday for allegedly threatening to kill a local Shiv Sena leader.

According to the police, the victim Sudhir More, 52, approached the police along with Shiv Sena workers late Tuesday night with a complaint against Kadam. In his complaint, More stated that while he was meeting Sena party workers in the area, Kadam allegedly called him on his cell phone and threatened to get kill him.

Senior Police Inspector, Rajaram Vhanmane of Ghatkopar police station, said, "We have registered a case under section 506 (2) (criminal intimidation) and are investigating the case." Vhanmane added, "We will be asking for the call record details of More and Kadam and after verifying it, we will take further necessary action".

When contacted, Sudhir More said, "I wish to contest against Kadam in the upcoming assembly elections and hence was collecting information from the locals of the work done by him. When he came to know of it he got miffed and called and threatened me".
