Kamlesh Doshi, municipal council chairman of Pratapgarh in Rajasthan, who went missing from Mumbai since Thursday, has been found injured in a hospital in Bengaluru on Monday morning. He was hospitalised by an unknown person when he was found unconscious inside a train at Bengaluru railway station.

According to Doshi's relatives, he had planned to go to Burhanpur from Mumbai via train. He had left his hotel at Grant Road on May 17 to board the train, however, he went missing after that.

Thereafter, his family was unable to contact him, while sources at Burhanpur confirmed that he hadn't reached there. Subsequently, a missing person's complaint was registered with the Pratapgarh police.

"The police had told us that his last mobile tower location was in Mumbai's Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and was switched off after that," said Uman Chipped, Doshi's cousin brother.

"We suddenly received a call from Doshi on Monday morning. He told us that he was in a hospital at Bengaluru after a few people found him in an unconscious state inside the train. He is injured and has lost all his valuables like mobile phone, gold chain, bracelet and money. There is a possibility that he has been robbed and assaulted," he said.
