Who would not love to be engrossed in enchanting music from time to time, to forget the rest of the world and enjoy a lyrical composition or a melodious tune? Concerts give you not only that, but an opportunity to feel positive vibes and the inexpressible superimposed joviality and cheer of the thousands around you, all dancing to the same tune, jumping on the same beats, shouting out the same chorus, feeling the same music. The idea of a concert alone is enough to get one's nerves tingling with zeal, expectations and impatience; more so when the concert is at Mood Indigo, IIT Bombay.

The 47th edition of Mood Indigo is set to host the Prog Metal band 'Haken' in this year's Livewire Nite, the most awaited concert at Mood Indigo. The band will be performing on December 22 at the Gymkhana Grounds in IIT Bombay. In the past, Livewire Nite has been graced by bands across different genres and countries with Prog bands like Porcupine Tree (UK), Karnivool (Aus) and Neal Morse Band ft. Mike Portnoy (US); Swedish Doom Metallers, Katatonia; Dutch Symphonic Metallers, Epica and the Canadian Pop Rock band Simple Plan. This year again, Mood Indigo aims at providing a unique experience to its music followers by bringing down a post-hardcore act to India for the first time.

Boasting a footfall of more than 1.39 lakh, Mood Indigo has grown in proportion with each passing edition. Every year, each of the four days of Mood Indigo end with concerts by national and International stars. Having had eminent personalities - including Asha Bhosle, RD Burman, Pritam, Vishal Shekhar and Borgeous - performing every year in front of a crowd of tens of thousands, Mood Indigo has succeeded in providing college students with amazing concerts on all four nights, among other things.
