Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan would make a 'presentation' about his government's performance before Congress president Sonia Gandhi, vice president Rahul Gandhi and other senior leaders tomorrow, a source said.
This follows the Congress high-command's decision to review the performance of governments of Congress-ruled states.
A senior official in the Mantralaya (state secretariat) said that Chavan would tell the party leadership about how his government dealt with inflation, last summer's drought and subsequent floods in Vidarbha, etc.
These issues were deemed important from election point of view, he said. "Chavan will also put forth before the high-command the challenges confronting the party, and how the state government would implement the newly passed Lokpal Bill," he said.
