Preity Zinta rules out selling her stake in Kings XI Punjab

Actress Priety Zinta who has been in the news recently for the molestation charges she filed against businessman and former beau Ness Wadia, finally came out in the media and put to rest the various conjectures which were drawn up on the entire issue.

Bollywood diva and the co-owner of the IPL team, Kings XI Punjab, Preity Zinta has ruled out selling her stake in IPL fanchise. The 39-year-old actress also rubbished reports that she was planning to settle in the US.

The award-winning actress took help of the micro blogging site Twitter where she cleared the air of speculations.

Zinta talked about not just her plans but also requested the media to not report about romours which have been going around for a while now. She said:

had filed a police complaint on June 13 against her business partner Ness Wadis accusing him of molesting, abusing and threatening her in Wankhede stadium on May 30 when Kings XI Punjab was playing Chennai Super Kings. Wadia, in a statement he made the next day claimed them to be 'false and baseless'.

Zinta had given a written complaint after which an FIR was filed against Ness Wadia under IPC sections 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation) and 509 (Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman).
