While on one hand buyers are hesitant to make Parsik Hills their home, the destination has emerged as a major tourist attraction over time. It is also a favourite among Bollywood directors and adventure sports lovers today.

"There are very few places in Navi Mumbai where one can have a peaceful time and Parsik Hills is among them. Thanks to the green environs, joggers and walkers, too, have a great time in the hills," said Bhanudas Karekar, a Belapur resident who makes it a point to come for a walk in the hills.

He added, "After the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) developed a garden atop the hill near Bhagwat Dham around 4-5 years ago, several people flock the spot in the evenings to catch a glimpse of the beautiful sunset and a stunning top view of the satellite city. From the top of the hills the new NMMC building and the tricolour look great too. The garden is open from 5-8pm. The Bhagwat Dham temple is another major attraction at Parsik Hills and the place draws crowds in the weekends ."

Suresh Thakur, a resident of Seawoods, says, "I have seen walkers and school children contribute to the environment by planting trees during the rainy season. It is because of their efforts that Parsik Hills has turned into a beautiful and unique a green zone in the satellite city. Besides, it is also an attraction for those into adventure sports like rock climbing."

Of late, a host of Bollywood directors scouting for scenic locations, have found their destination in Parsik Hills. "Some scenes of Shootout at Wadala were shot at this location. Directors, be it of Bollywood or for serials, have been heading to Parsik Hills increasingly in recent times," admit locals staying at the foothills of the hills.
