The Vasai Government Railway Police (GRP) while inquiring about a video shot by a Bhayander-based woman, in which she claimed that she witnessed a man molesting two women at Bhayander railway station on Thursday, stated that the spot at which the incident took place is not covered by CCTV cameras.

Vaidahi More, a housewife, had seen a man molesting two women at Bhayander station on Thursday. More soon confronted the victim and asked her to complain to the policemen at the platform but they refused to entertain her request. More in a fit of rage shot a video and is seen threatening the police authorities that she will take the matter into her own hands and pick up weapons to fight the molesters. The video was posted on Facebook and other social media platforms where it garnered views in thousands. DNA had reported the incident on Saturday.

The GRP rushed into action to trace the woman and have taken her statement. Shockingly the incident was not captured in the CCTV cameras and a note of the incident was made at the Vasai GRP.

Rajendra Bhosale, Senior Police Inspector, Vasai GRP, said, "We have contacted the woman and have taken her statement. The incident has not been captured into the CCTV camera as none of the installed cameras cover that portion of the area. We will register the complaint if any woman comes forward and reports the incident."
