New drug keeps Mumbai cops on toes

The new designer drug, China White, which had hit Indian markets recently, has now put the Mumbai police’s Anti-Narcotics Cell on its toes as the police have received information that the drug has started coming to the city too. This newly emerging drug is famous in foreign countries and now the drug has started gaining popularity in India’s financial and political capital. 

According to sources, China White is hundred times more potent than morphine or heroin and mere inhalation or contact with skin can cause an overdose, resulting in death.  “We had received information that the suppliers of China White are trying to introduce the drug in the city as a substitute to heroin and MD. We are keeping a close watch on it,” said Shivdip Lande, DCP, Mumbai ANC.
