It’s been over two years since he committed himself to making yoga a part of his life and much of it has to do with his special relationship with the Bihar School of Yoga in Munger, Bihar.
Ness Wadia has since become a devoted follower of the yogic way of life and is deriving much solace from it in the hurly burly of the corporate chaos that defines Mumbai. Your diarist has learnt that he’s disengaged from everything to spend a week in quiet introspection. The disappearance coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Bihar School of Yoga which has organised a 5-day World Yoga Convention from October 23 - 27.
Among the thousands of followers of the yoga school converging on the sleepy little town in Bihar are the rich and famous from all over the world. While the names are being kept under wraps for security reasons, we can tell you that a number of Ness’ own friends from Mumbai and New York — many of them converts to the yogic path thanks to him — are among the attendees.
